❄️ Girls Ski Jackets – Top Picks for This Season

Feb 1, 2026 · Kids Ski Wear

Whether their ski adventure is just around the corner or you’re planning ahead for snowy holidays, having the right ski jacket is essential. A great ski jacket keeps your little (or bigger!) skier warm, dry and protected, so they can spend more time enjoying the slopes whatever the mountain weather throws at you.

At Little Skiers, our carefully selected range of girls ski jackets combines technical performance with fun colours and female fits, ensuring your child stays cosy from first tracks to après-ski hot chocolate. From beginner days on gentle slopes to full-on alpine thrills, we’ve got ski jackets for every age and ability.

🎿 Our Favourite Girls Ski Jackets:

Here are some top picks that are flying off the shelves, perfect for this season’s ski trips and snowy adventures:

Highlights & What Makes Them Great

🧠 What to Look For in a Ski Jacket

  • Warmth & insulation: Keeps your child warm in the changing cold alpine conditions.
  • Waterproof & breathable fabric: Keeps snow and water out while letting moisture escape as they ski.
  • Fit & movement: Room for layering but snug enough to keep warmth in.
  • Fun colours & prints: Makes your child visible on a crowded ski slope

All our jackets in our range are designed for the conditions you’d find across popular ski regions (like the Alps) and are tested for durability and comfort.

Sizing & Fit Tips for Parents

Choosing the right ski jacket size can make all the difference to your child’s comfort on the slopes. Here are our top tips to help you get the perfect fit first time:

1. Allow Room for Layers

Ski jackets should fit comfortably over base layers and mid-layers (like fleeces). A jacket that’s too snug may restrict movement or feel cold once layered up. Look for a fit that allows easy arm movement without feeling bulky.

2. Think About Growth (But Don’t Oversize Too Much!)

It’s tempting to size up so the jacket lasts more than one season,  and a little extra room is fine. However, jackets that are too big can let cold air and snow in, especially around the waist and sleeves.

3. Check Sleeve Length

A good rule of thumb: sleeves should reach the wrist with arms relaxed, and still cover the wrists when arms are raised. Thumb loops or adjustable cuffs are a bonus for keeping snow out and gloves tucked in place.

4. Look for "Grow With Me" Features

A built-in grow system that adjusts to your child each season, ensuring a great fit year after year. Simply remove the red thread in the sleeves (when turned inside out) and you get extra length.

5. Comfort Matters Most

Kids move a lot when skiing — lifting arms, bending, twisting and falling (it’s all part of the fun!). Make sure the jacket feels comfortable when zipped up fully and doesn’t pull across the shoulders or ride up at the back.

6. Check the Size Guide

Each brand can fit slightly differently. We always recommend checking the individual size guide on the product page (just abouve the size options) especially if your child is between sizes. If you’re unsure, our team is happy to help you choose.
