WeeDo burst onto the scene when Antje Risau appeared on Germany’s ‘Dragon’s Den’. With a focus on sustainability, WeeDo Funwear produces imaginative, practical and environmentally friendly snowsuits for children - a colourful world of mythical creatures, animals and monsters.
WeeDo used the 20 years worth of experience in the fashion industry, creating a product made from recycled plastic bottles, they are breathable PFC-free but are still completely water repellent and include 3M reflectors. Read more about their sustainability
The woman behind Weedo is Antje. She is a mother, designer, tailor, manager and creator; freely skipping between roles like a seasoned entrepreneur. Inspired by her grandmother’s needlework, Antje has always believed in the transformative power of fashion. Essentially, the right to expression is both the input and the output of the business. It is what motivates us, yet also exactly what we want to inspire in our friends and partners. WeeDo exists to encourage a child’s imagination, which is key to personal development and discovery. Our own fond memories of childhood inspired us to make fantasy a central principle of WeeDo. As well as producing high-end outerwear, we proudly put the ‘fun’ in ‘functional’. Lastly, nature and its preservation and celebration are key to our ethos; hence our sustainability pledge. All things considered, we know what it takes to satisfy informed customers and entertain lively kids!
